The information on this page applies to Version 0.40 and above only. Short codes were not a feature in earlier versions of the software.

Short codes (sometimes also known as macros) are nifty little features of Aneuch. They allow you to embed extra functionality into your page.

They can be defined in either your config.pl file, or via a plugin.

Short codes are used on your page by surrounding the code (and optional data) with percent signs. An example would be %test This is a test%.

Built-in Short Codes

Aneuch includes a couple of built-in short codes.

Using this short code, you can create a quick link to the search feature of Aneuch. Simply include the term you want to use after the %search parameter is specified.
