Short codes (sometimes also known as macros) are nifty little features of Aneuch. They allow you to embed extra functionality into your page.
They can be defined in either your [[Configuring|config.pl]] file, or via a [[Plugins|plugin]].
Short codes are used on your page by surrounding the code (and optional data) with percent signs. An example would be **`%test This is a test%`**.
==Built-in Short Codes
Aneuch includes a couple of built-in short codes.
===Search
Using this short code, you can create a quick link to the search feature of Aneuch. Simply include the term you want to use after the `%search` parameter is specified.
